A[W] Public aquarium is the aquatic counterpart of a zoo with living aquatic animals for public viewing. Public aquariums feature many tanks larger than those kept by home aquarists, as well as smaller tanks. A large aquarium can span multiple buildings with not only tanks but also indoor and outdoor pools.
