I hope everyone's doing well.

I was wondering what kind of tools (numerical/simulation, and perhaps the corresponding equations as well) can help me model this problem of liquid/gaseous nitrogen in a cylinder.

Problem schematic

I'm interested in finding out how the flow rate of liquid nitrogen (at the bottom of the cylinder) and heat input (via a heat exchanger) affects the flow of liquid nitrogen exiting the cylinder at the top. And perhaps the pressures and temperatures at certain points within the system.

I'm assuming at this stage for simplicity that there is no heat transfer between the cylinder and surroundings apart from that at the heat exchanger.

I'm open to suggestions on any computational tools that might help me work out the problem (2D or 3D).

Thanks.
