I need searchable PDF output from AutoCAD files. There is a convenient procedure to do so which includes activating "TrueType as text" option while plotting and using windows fonts only.

I do so and indeed much of the texts are recognized as so and are therefore searchable in my PDF reader program. But the problem is that only some of the texts are recognized. I tried to find a pattern in this and came to the conclusion that texts are recognizable unless their width factor / oblique is altered. This can be corrected by modifying these factors in multi-line texts (mtxt) but the single line texts (txt) need to be converted to mtxt first (via txt2mtxt command). This is hard work! specifically for files with numerous text inputs. Any one knows a shortcut here?
